Talking to my Grandpa is kind of like listening to a Bob Dylan song - sometimes you have to replay the conversation in your head a few times before you stumble upon its real meaning. This isn't a secret or anything; we have sat around the dinner table trying to decipher his letters for years. It's a little different when you are sitting next to him though, as you do not have the benefit of time to ponder what it is that you are actually talking about. I am sure that this amuses him to no end... But you can always tell when he is about to put something new on you because his eyes light up and he usually can't keep a chuckle or two from coming to the surface as he begins.
